- Does my router support ADSLMax/8Mb/s ?
Yes, all Vigor2600 and Vigor2800 series routers will sync. on ADSL lines up to 8Mb/s. The actual top speed you will connect at will depend on your line conditions and your actual throughput depends on many factors.
- Why doesn't my Vigor2800 sync. with the ADSL line quickly?
In the Internet Access Setup options (PPPoA) ensure that you select the right line type. For regular ADSL, select G.DMT.
- Why can't I get online to the Internet?

Notes & Hints for ideal reporting :
- All fields are mandatory (except where not applicable), including the full product serial number.
- A concise report is best at first, as the query may be recognised immediately and a quicker response can be issued, rather than a very long report with what might be unnecessary background information. If we then need further information, we will ask for it so please use your own judgement about what information will be useful in the first instance.
- If you have a query about a wireless router, do state which wireless clients you are using, for example 'Vigor540 PCMCIA card' etc.
- This service is available to existing Vigor owners within the UK/Ireland only; we cannot reply otherwise. If you do not already own a Vigor product or your query is not regarding that product, please use the regular pre-sales channels instead as we cannot respond from here.
- If your query relates to VPN or other more complex issues, do outline the setup/scenario.
- Always refer to devices specifically. e.g. "The Vigor2800" rather than "the unit" or "the router" as this can be ambiguous or confusing in a scenario where there are several routers or devices.
- You can include text logs in the above box if you think they will be useful.
- After you submit your query, it will be allocated to an engineer. You will then receive an email confirmation of the query and a unique tracking number which we will refer to in our reply. Please state that reference number in the subject field of all subsequent emails regarding the same issue.
