Bind IP to MAC GUI Bug in 2866 4.5.1_BT firmware was created by bman
Hi All,
Anyone else experiencing a weird bug with the Bind IP to MAC screen? Since upgrading to 4.5.1, I now have the issue where clicking on an item on the IP bind list at the bottom of the page selects the wrong entry from the list - it selects the one below the one selected instead. I also run a 2927 and the issue doesn't seem to be there with the other router type.
If you are, please let me know and I will report it accordingly to Draytek support.
Many thanks.

Yes, exactly the same here.
Looks like they've maybe changed how many characters are allowed per line - they seem to do this with almost every version just to balls it up once again.

I've noticed this for a while on a 2865ac - currently on 4.5.1_BT but it was definitely there in previous firmware(s)

I'm going to create a new post but I've also noted bugs in v4.5.1 on a 2927 in the VPN section. Using IKEv1 IPSec the encryption is defaulting to 3DES or DES only, select AES and it switches back. I made some changes to a couple of VPN's after upgrading to v4.5.1 the other day, a routine task, two of them stopped working and after some initial head scratching realised the outbound WAN IP addresses had swapped around! I ultimately had to downgrade to v4.4.6.2 again to make work, upgrading to v4.5.1 seems to still work for these VPN's but any changes screws them up.

I've noticed an additional issue with the GUI on the bind ip to mac screen. Namely, I cannot select any of the entries in the list beyond row 111. This is actually proving to be a significant issue for me as I can't delete the binding in row 115 which is preventing that device from getting an address via DHCP. And unfortunately I can't revert to an old version of the firmware as the 4.51 has fixes for critical vulnerabilities. So I am stuck.

I found that if I exported all my MAC binds to the .cfg file, and then looked at that, the comments fields all had loads of spaces in them - e.g. if I had a comment UDP Relay, in the file it was "UDP Relay " - with the quotes and spaces. I guess this is because I imported the binds from another router (2860) at some point in the past. I edited the .cfg file to remove all the extra spaces and then re-imported it and it clear up my GUI issues. YYMV of course and make sure you backup first etc..
