CRC_P Counts on my 2762. was created by oakserver
Hi,
This evening I noticed my internet speed drop and ran a speediest.
My line was showing 5mbps instead of the usual 72mbps I've come to expect.
The DSL stats screen looked fairly normal, nothing unusual for 3 days of uptime - about 30 ES and around 65 CRC error downstream.
I checked the vdsl status counts command and noticed about 700,000 CRC_P errors, which were rapidly rising by a couple of thousand each time I reran the command.
I tried googling what CRC_P error actually are and can find nothing. This drop in speed has happened a few times recently but I've always rebooted and thought nothing more of it. It must be these CRC_P errors causing the problem, because after a reboot they return to normal and I have no CRC_P errors.
Any idea what this means and what I can do about it other than schedule a daily reboot?
