I recently took delivery of a 2962; all working well, but I've noticed that with Safari, none of the links in the central area of the dashboard respond to being clicked-on. For example the Quick Access (to the right), or the shortcuts to LANs and WANs.

The contents bar to the left is working fine, opening sections and allowing me to navigate to the different sections.

I don't get the same problem in Google Chrome.

I've tried resetting Safari and deleting the web site data for the IP address that the 2962 is located at, but it makes no difference.

Logging into a 2927 doesn't have the same issue; all links on the 2927 dashboard work fine, so perhaps there is something subtly different that the 2962 web page is doing that is tripping up Safari?

Essentially nothing inside the central frame of the dashboard page is clickable. On other pages, everything in that central area is working fine, however.

Same on iOS Safari, so definitely not something specific to the computer I was trying it on.

Would be good if that was fixed, I don’t want to use another browser purely to be able to efficiently administer a Draytek 2962.

Hi oviano ,

This seems to be fixed now, well at least in the 4.4.3.6 (Stable) FW release; as of this posting!

Confirmed working in Safari, whereas previously it wasn't working.

Thanks for the reply.

Actually I'm using the latest mainline 4.4.5, perhaps the fix will make it into this branch too at some point.

I too had upgraded to the 4.4.5.0 and then the 4.4.5.1 but both were dog slow on performance.

This particular 2962, for me, is central to many LAN2LAN connections and was causing long system wait times, both 4.4.5.0 and 4.4.5.1 had the same problem. I eventually rolled back to 4.4.6.3 (Stable) and all is working smoothly again!

(I'm not a fan of rolling-back either, but this needed resolving.)

Thank you, that's useful information!

I'm not physically at the location again until December now, and I'm definitely not doing a remote rollback, so I'll probably see how things stand by then.
