Long delay in reboot on Draytek 2866 and 2927 was created by bman
Dear All,
I've been experiencing another issue with both my Draytek 2866ax and 2927ac routers lately. Namely, whenever I reboot the router, either via a mandatory reboot after a configuration change or manually via the Reboot Now button in System Maintenance, there is always a significant delay before the router actually reboots. So as an example, I would click on the Reboot Now button, the screen would pause for 10 or so seconds, and then go straight back to the main GUI screen. I would still be able to click on additional buttons, run commands, etc for anywhere between another 10 seconds to 2 minutes before the router would finally actually shutdown and reboot. It is more of a annoyance than anything, but it is definitely not working the way it should be and needs to be fixed.
This has been happening regularly for the past few versions of the firmware.
Has anyone else experienced the same issue and if so, did you actually find a way to fix it?
Many thanks,
bman

From memory my 2927ax was like that 2 or 3 firmwares ago, then it changed (for the better) after a firmware update, now with 4.5.1 it's back to being very slow - indeed, it sometimes seems as though it's not going to reboot at all, so I just switch it off and back on.....
