AP1062C Enable Password was created by weehappypixie
Hi folks,

Does anyone know the Enable password for the web-cli on the AP1062C. I can log in to the web-cli with my normal admin and password details but then when you do enable it asks for another password and it's not my password or any of the defaults.

John

If we are talking about the same thing, I just logged into the web management interface as normal, then logged into the web-cli (under the utility menu) with a test user name and password that I setup for the purpose. Only because the admin password was too long to retype into the terminal window, it had all the same permissions as admin.

Hi bob_bob,

Once you are in the web_cli and logged in can you enter the command enable and see if it works for you.

Thanks,

Ah I see, apparently reading was not my strong point with your post!

OK so after logging in, typing enable, it wants a password that I do not have.

What is the enable command meant to do? I found a list of cli commands, but it isn't included. Obviously used extensively as an option to enable or disable something else though.
