Extended 5ghz wifi

I have a 2865 vigor and need to extend the 5ghz range.<br/>
What is the easiest and most effective way of doing this?

Since <URL url="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_distribution_system"> WDS </URL> is seemingly quite vendor-specific, it would have to be a Draytek AP. <URL url="https://draytek.co.uk/products/business/vigorap-802"> Vigor AP 802 </URL> perhaps?
