2866Vac: VoIP settings for Andrews & Arnold was created by Mark
Having been migrated to a SOGEA service (Plusnet) and my landline terminated, moved it to A&A VoIP.
Any pointers or examples as to how the VoIP/General and SIP account settings should be?
I've tried many, many combinations, but no to show registration. With and without stun.
Somebody, somewhere must have this combination of router/VoIP provider and got it working!

I have a 2866Vac router too but I'm afraid I'm not going to be any help to you (sorry). I'm just posting to say that if you get it working please do post any useful information or tips here. The same thing is about to happen to me very soon. I'm hoping to get my router and phone working with Zen's digital voice service but if that proves to be too difficult then A&A will probably be my second choice.

The port-in takes ~ 10 working days. A&A have confirmed that I won't be able to set up my router and 'Register' the SIP connection until the port-in has completed (I read their FAQ as meaning I could register, just not make calls; they have confirmed that is NOT the case).

You have probably had a look at this but there is an A&A page relating to Draytek.
https://support.aa.net.uk/VoIP_Phones_-_Draytek
The other two pages linked from that page are also well worth a read.
I did have a VoIP capable version of the Draytek 2860 working (as a test) with Sipgate and that seemed OK.
I ended up with a Gigaset DECT base station handling the SIP, partially because the VoIP capable Draytek 2927 isn't sold in the UK and that was the device I wanted.

Thanks, I had seen that page. Interesting contrast between that and the equivalent page for the Fritz!Box, which has a shot of the actual config pages, showing all of the dozens and dozens of settings.
I'll have a go when my number is ported, but I'm not holding my breath.

I was moved onto Digital Voice today by Zen. I was able to plug my DECT phone into my 2866Vac router and get Zen's Digital Voice working without too much trouble. I was probably just lucky because I am certainly no VoIP expert. I made a longer post about it in the "Best approach for Digital Voice with Zen" thread in the Routers & Firewalls section of this forum.
