vlan and static public ip was created by jasonmilsom
i need to set up a vlan for a pdq machine that connects over the internet using our clients current fttc broadband .Apparently i can set the vlan up so it has a static public ip of its own , how would i go about doing this
the client currently has two lan ranges on the router
one is 192.168.1. used for the main data connection and wifi devices
then 192.200.100.2 for the segregated network for taking payment via a pdq machine and a payment portal ( this will require it's own public IP apparently )
as much instruction an plain English would be helpful
