Setup VLAN Access Port was created by Nick
I've got VLANs setup on my home network, four in total, with tags of 10, 20,30 and 40. With various nertgear switches around and a Draytek AP906 all is well with the 2866ax at the top of the pyramid.
Except, how do I setup an "Access" port on the router ? With the VLAN setup , P1 is my trunk and the first VLAN0 is P1 with a tag of 10 on LAN1 , and VLAN1, 2, 3 and with their relevant tags and LAN2 , 3, 4 etc all on P1.
I setup P5 on VLAN4 connected to LAN1 , this is untagged to make it an "access" port, (as I would on my netgear switches) , except is does not work. I can access the router and the internet, but none of my network resources on LAN1.
Am I missing something ? Can you create an access port on the router?
thanks
Nick
