PPPoE connection to my ISP works fine with firmware v4.5.1.1 on my Vigor 2927 router, but fails to connect when I upgrade to v4.5.2. The online status shows the connection cycling between starting up and stopping (IIRC). I've downgraded back to v4.5.1.1 and it's working again. Let me know if you need any further information to help diagnose.

I've just upgraded my 2927ax to 4.5.2 and the PPPoE connection to Zen appears to be working OK. Not much help to you I'm afraid.

@chaser  I'm not sure if it's just the phrase you used or you are looking for technical support here but (as far as I'm aware) no Draytek employees offer support on this forum - you'd need to contact the support team for that.  People will offer their experiences and quite often useful answers but can't provide firmware updates.

Not really looking for formal technical support at this stage. Just trying to gauge if this is possibly a config issue at my end that others have also come across and fixed.

Is there anything you might consider "unusual" in your ISP's requirements? As I say, my Zen connection is working fine.

I don't think there's anything too unusual. Perhaps the one slight difference is the need to inject a service VLAN tag (VLAN 911 - City Fibre requirement). Here's a couple of screenshots:
