What is System Maintenance >> Configuration Export

I note on a 2927 V4.5.2.1 there is a new, undocumented, System Maintenance >> Configuration Export menu option. How does this differ from the historic System Maintenance >> Configuration Backup?

I don't know but on my 2927ax the backup cfg file is 22kB whilst the export exp file is 131kB
The router "hints" that the exp might be usable on other models?

Indeed, no documentation, only hints.

The .exp is actually a text file rather than the binary format of the .cfg so that probably explains the larger size. I quite like the idea of being able to change the text in the .exp (for example SysHostname) so I can copy a setup from one router when setting up a new one.
