Local Network IP for dial out VPNs? was created by Jonathan
Hi all

This one is probably really simple.

Can anyone just enlighten me and put me straight.

For VPN and Remote Access >> LAN to LAN I'm setting up some dial out NordVPN connections, the bit I'm confused with the bit in the profile where you have to enter local and remote networks

Does the Local Network IP and mask have to match the local IP and subnet I use for LAN1?  Or can the local network IP and mask be anything of my choosing?

For example if I used 10.8.0.0 /24 for my local network IP and mask in the VPN profile, does LAN1 interface on the router have to match that IP and mask?

I under the remote network needs to be set to 0.0.0.0/0
